NEW: Lyerly Accepts Debate Proposal, Looks Forward To Seeing Wied On Stage
Green Bay, WI—Dr. Kristin Lyerly’s campaign has officially accepted a debate proposal with WBAY and the Mauthe Center for September 27th. “The Lyerly Campaign is delighted that Tony Wied has finally agreed to debate! We look forward to showcasing the clear contrast on stage between an out-of-touch extremist, who has spent his career serving himself, and the 6th-generation Wisconsinite, who has spent her career serving the people of the 8th district,” Lyerly campaign spokesperson Kurt Frewing said.
The debate will take place on September 27th at 7pm in the Mauthe Center at UWGB’s campus and will be broadcast live on WBAY. The moderator will be Cami Rapson, a WBAY Anchor, and panelists will be Jason Zimmerman of WBAY and Jesse Lin from the Green Bay Press Gazette.
